Where in Texas?

Each of this year's Where in Texas? photos will feature a birding destination in Texas. Can you guess the location? The boardwalks over the marsh at this coastal birding hotspot let you feel like one of the flock. The wetlands offer a chance to see coastal denizens such as the common gallinule (right) and maybe even a whooping crane.

If you recognize this site, email us at [email protected]; let us know on Facebook; or send us a note at Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine, 4200 Smith School Road, Austin, TX 78744 (write “Where in Texas?” on the envelope). Feel free to tell us a story about your relationship with the location, too. We'll reveal the answer in a future issue.
